My career began on the golf course. During my high school summer breaks, while others were flipping burgers, I was mowing grass at the Lakes of the Four Seasons Golf Course located outside Crown Point, Indiana.

I continued in golf course management while attending Purdue University's turf management course. In 1976, I moved to Florida and started working at the Clubs of Inverrary just outside Fort Lauderdale. This course was a PGA Tour stop featuring top golfers of the time at the Jackie Gleason Golf Classic. I spent 20 years managing golf courses throughout South Florida, including three years at the home of the well known golf professional Jack Nicklaus.

My commitment to my family led me to the Ocala area, where I took care of my aging parents. During this time, I worked for 15 years with Sears in their Lawn and Garden departments, achieving several sales awards. When Sears began to falter, I decided to pursue a career in real estate. Both of my parents had been involved in real estate for over 40 years in Indiana and Florida. I actually became a Realtor in Indiana during my college days with no computers, or calculators.

Since obtaining my real estate license in 2012 through hard work and dedication in College of Central Florida’s real estate classes, I have been passionate about the field. I passed my initial exam and have been actively working in real estate, selling and listing properties from the Forest of Marion County to Citrus County in SugarMill Woods. I sold new homes for On Top of the World Communities and handled resales. In my first year, I came in second in homes sold among five seasoned sales agents and have received various awards over the years with On Top of the World and Coldwell Banker Realty.

At heart, I am a family man. I have been happily married for almost 10 years and have a strong faith in God.

My passion for helping others find their "perfect home" has kept me in this business for over 12 years, and I look forward to continuing this passion at Robb Harrison Realty, Inc.
